July is here and with it, the start of a new quarter which means it is time for our quarterly dividend income report. Last quarter I earned close to $1300 in dividend income. Lets see what happened in Q2.

$1462.26
That is my total dividend income for the 2nd quarter of 2020. In quarter 1 I earned $1292.68 in dividend income bringing my 2020 total to $2754.94
When 2019 ended I set a goal for myself of $6500 in dividend income for 2020. Halfway through the year and I am 42.5% to my goal. Considering what has happened thus far in 2020 I feel that is not half bad.
I ended 2019 with a total dividend income of $4334.00 So I am well on my way to beating that total. From Q1 to Q2 my dividend income increased 13%. Assuming I achieve even half of that increase each of the next 2 quarters I should finish the year at about $6000. Not far off from my goal of $6500
When I set the goal of $6500 nobody could have predicted what would happen with the markets and the world in 2020. I am very happy with the current trajectory of my dividend income for the year 2020.
Happy investing
Earl
Great job, Earl! Keep up the good work!
